Thank God it's March! March means it's not February and February meant one of the most brutal winters in history. If I see another snowflake I. might. just. DIE.

Well, I went to Disney World for the FIRST TIME EVER. My boyfriend took me (Praise God for airline careers) and I had a blast. Who says it's just for kids?

I mean it is , but we all know that with my maturity level I definitely qualify. So coming back to "coldsville" as the lovely people of Florida like to refer to Michigan was a bit of downer. But on the plus side I got to hang out with my best bud and DA sis Kaysha! She's one in a million, and she made the trip twice as fun.

One a writing note, I'm experiencing my "spring break" which is my blessed week with no graduate courses. Unfortuanately I'm clocking about 50 hours at the job this week, but hey I can't have everything. I'm actually gonna get home when the sun is still up and that's a miracle in and of itself! So hopefully in the next few days I'll get some of those plot bunnies corralled and onto paper. That's the plan anyways. I'm bouncing between my novel The Ashes and the Inu fic Something to Protect. My recent re-obsession with anime is helping me out in that area. I do realize the Inuyasha fandom is winding down, but tell Muse-chan that. He isn't listening to reason. . . which is nothing new.

As Inuyasha and his group foil plan after plan, Naraku begins to concentrate less on the pieces of the Shikon no Tama and more on destroying them. With the Shikon's power acting strangely Naruku creates a plot designed to solve his problem for good.

The Ashes series is a set of novels that I have been trying to create since undergrad. If you love fantasy or the paranormal then this series will be for you.

A Single Spark The first installment follows my two main characters Kaia and Aiden on a treacherous quest of lost love and forgotten magic as they seek to be reunited. The starcrossed pair are the inspiration for my journal theme. A back cover synopsis, biographies, teasers and more will be up soon.
